Get Started with SiteSage Memory

Tailor your AI to your company’s rules and processes, and get a solution that truly understands your business.

Knowledge Bank

Memory is your company's knowledge bank within the SiteSage system. It defines the framework for how the AI should understand your business, rules, and customer dialogue.

Flexible Guidelines

The AI formulates unique responses for each ticket based on what it has learned. You provide it with precise, yet flexible, information for customer service.

Fill Knowledge Gaps

Memory is a tool where you can give the AI knowledge it doesn't get elsewhere. This helps it respond more precisely, exactly as you want it to.

How it works in practice

  1. Input Data

Memory is updated with short facts, guidelines, or phrasing that helps the AI understand your processes and preferences.

  2. Reference, Not a Script

The AI uses Memory as a reference framework, not as a locked script, to ensure natural responses.

  3. Language Flexibility

Information is written in **Danish**, but the system automatically translates to other languages as needed.

  4. Quality In, Quality Out

The more meaningful and contextually clear the Memory is, the better and more accurate the AI's responses will be.

Do's and Don'ts in Memory Formulations

The goal is not to provide canned responses, but to give the AI enough understanding to create the right response.

Our return portal can be found at https://returns.my-company.dk

Let’s go through how to write and configure good memories, step by step.

Function-Based Routing

Routing by function lets you apply Memories only to specific actions—for example, when generating a response or when translating. Use it to protect brand names from translation or to apply country-specific translation rules.

  • Our brand name is 'SiteSage' for Danish and English speaking customers.
  • Translate “support ticket” into German as “Supportanfrage”
  • The return portal for french customers is...

Language-Based Routing

Routing by language ensures that Memories are only applied when they’re relevant to the customer’s language or region. This way, your AI provides accurate, localized information instead of mixing content across markets.

  • The German return policy is...
  • Shipments for UK has 5-6 days delivery time.
  • French translations should be very formal.

Category-Based Routing

Routing by category ensures that Memories are only applied for relevant topics, such as returns, cancellations, orders, or product inquiries. This way, your AI gives precise answers without mixing unrelated information.

  • For returns: Returns are free for these countries...
  • For cancellation requests: Ask if customer would instead prefer a discount.
  • For product inquiries: If there are less than five items in stock, say the item is not available.
